Rejection Percentage
The Technological-Educational Journal Docentes 2.0 (RTED) calculates its percentage of rejection of articles according to the following formula:
PR = AR / (AA + AR) × 100
PR: Rejection percentage
AR: Rejected articles, among those received in the year
AA: Accepted articles, among those received in the year
The calculation is made by year of submission: each article counts in the year in which the journal received it, and only articles that already have an editorial decision (accepted or rejected) are included. Articles still under evaluation are not counted until a decision is made.
Notably, rejected items include:
Articles rejected for not meeting the author's standards or other criteria defined by the publisher.
Articles rejected during peer review.
Articles accepted with modifications, whose author did not send the corrections in the established term and form.
The figures for each year, calculated from the journal's records, and the full method are published in Editorial Statistics.
